Replacement solid glass rectangular deck prisms manufactured in England by Davey & Co.
The glass prisms are produced today in much the same way as they were 100 years ago, i.e pouring molten glass into an open top mould, cutting the flow (judged by eye) and rubbing over the top. This process can produce the following imperfections:
a) Lines or ridges on the outside surface of the glass;
b) Bubbles captured within the glass;
c) Slight dipping on the top of the glass as it contracts when it cools down.
None of these in moderation are faults but rather part of the character of this hand made item.

Hello - I had one very old prism and plan to incorporate into a huge Ben frame I handmade and needed a second one 2 one to make the headboard look even. These prisms can be hard to come by and it was important they were identical. I live in the US an had to look to Australia, as they were the only one at the time that carried that size and had them in stock. The staff was extremely kind and took interest to help me to ensure it was the right product and made sure I got it safely. I plan to order any additional parts I need through them as I restore quite few items from old ships. Great staff.
