High-quality 12-gauge silicon bronze wood screws in a variety of lengths. These silicon bronze screws have a slotted countersunk (CSK) head and are ideal for use as boat building screws.
Even buried in the wooden structure of a boat, silicon bronze screws will not corrode - unlike stainless steel screws which will corrode when shielded from oxygen and unable to build a protective oxide layer.
We also recommend silicon bronze screws (or silicon bronze machine screws for high-load situations) for fastening our bronze deck hardware.
You are welcome to buy individual screws or benefit from the following quantity discounts if you buy more (your discount will be calculated automatically when you enter the quantity above).

The silicon bronze wood screws, machine screws and nuts were just what the doctor ordered. After searching for these fasteners at four NZ chandlery stores and other fastener shops I located Classic Boat Supplies. Although postage is high for the trip from Australia to NZ the product quality and speed of delivery makes it money well spent. In hind sight I could have sourced all the fasteners from Classic Boat Supplies. The fasteners have been used on the refitting of an 11 foot clinker dinghy that was built in 1970.
The Silicon bronze screws supplied were good quality, accurately manufactured and high strength (was able to drive the screws with the cordless drill without fear of breaking the screws or damaging heads). Price and delivery were excellent.
Great quality, Packaging and quick Delivery highly recommended. Geoff
After receiving very disappointing response from a similar company in NZ I went on line and found Classic Boat Supplies.
Mike Watson has provided me with impeccable service answering every email promptly with good advice and most of all keeping me in the loop with delivery schedules.
I cannot speak highly enough of the way in which Mike has treated me and I will be purchasing more goods for the 28ft Herreshoff Rozinante yawl that I am building in Hawkes Bay NZ.
